Beth Waldorf, LMSW, is a licensed therapist and an integral member of the clinical team at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in the Lenox Hill neighborhood of Manhattan. She approaches therapy as a collaborative process and has experience working with adults who are managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, social-emotional stressors, interpersonal problems, chronic mental illness, and dual diagnoses.
Beth earned her Master’s in Social Work from Widener University. She also holds a master’s in human resources and industrial relations.
Beth utilizes aspects of multiple modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy. Beth takes a client-centered, strength-based approach to create an open and genuine environment.
Beth’s prior experience includes working as a psychotherapist in an outpatient behavioral health clinic and as a psychotherapist in an addictions clinic working with dual-diagnosis clients.
