Cheryl Gould, DNP, NPP, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in the Lennox Hill neighborhood of Manhattan.
Dr. Gould received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix before earning her Master of Science in Nursing, PMHNP from Rutgers University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. Dr. Gould has been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2003. She is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Dr. Gould has worked with diverse populations and in a variety of settings during her career. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experience treating patients from age 18 to 80+. She treats adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. As a former smoker and a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, she is passionate about helping others quit tobacco.
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and their dog, Lulu. She also enjoys travel, photography, mixed media art, cooking, and reading.
