Cora B. Richter, LMSW, MA, is the clinical director and a licensed master social worker at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in New York.
 
Cora has a fundamental belief that when individuals have the necessary life skills and social support, there is no limit to their potential. She has an eclectic therapeutic approach that draws on multiple theoretical approaches and techniques, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), positive psychology, and executive function coaching. Cora has experience working with adult clients living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, OCD, and trauma; she frequently works with individuals facing relationship challenges and life transitions. Cora works collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and values and break through the patterns and roadblocks that are getting in the way of living in accordance with them.
 
Cora completed her Masters of Arts in psychology at the Teachers College at Columbia University followed by her Masters in Social Work from the Columbia School of Social Work. Cora’s work experience includes working at the Columbia Day Treatment Program, Lieber Recovery Clinic, and New York Obesity Research Center.
