Sam Kolander, MD, is the Director of Clinical Strategy at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York.
Sam has a longstanding interest in health care systems and leadership. He earned his undergraduate degree at Washington University before attending medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He served as chief resident at Columbia University and was one of ten residents nationwide awarded the APA Leadership Fellowship. After residency, he served as Adult Psychiatric Director at Equip Health.
Sam cares deeply about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and was awarded the national Austen Riggs Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy. He is passionate about utilizing technology to increase access to gold-standard mental health treatment and has expertise in mood, anxiety, personality, and eating disorders.
