Sam has a longstanding interest in health care systems and leadership. He served as chief resident at Columbia University and was one of ten residents nationwide awarded the APA Leadership Fellowship. After residency he served as Adult Psychiatric Director at Equip Health. He additionally cares deeply about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and was awarded the national Austen Riggs Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy. He is passionate about utilizing technology to increase access to gold-standard mental health treatment and has expertise in mood, anxiety, personality, and eating disorders.
